In light of An Taoiseach’s statement this evening, Connect Trade Union urges all its members to abide with the directive as issued
Throughout the Coronavirus crisis, Connect Trade Union has always been guided by the public health experts and in this instance the public restrictions are clear and only those engaged in essential services should attend their place of work.
In this current emergency, Irish workers and the Irish people will show their true qualities of solidarity, fraternity and togetherness and by working in unity for the common good, we will prevail.
Please rest assured that Connect Trade Union has continuity plans in place and we will continue to provide a full service to our members, whatever sector you are employed in and will remain in constant communication with our members to address any concerns you may have regarding how this crisis may impact your employment.
