Ireland’s Union for Sheetmetal Workers wants to hear what you have to say.
Since October 2017 most Contractors have increased rates of pay on foot of the Construction Sectoral Employment Order coming into effect.
So what about “travel time”, “Pension” and other conditions of employment?
Do we need to look at a Sectoral Employment Order specifically for our industry with rates of pay that reflect our skilled craft?
Well let’s start the discussion.
We want you and all your colleagues to attend the Union Branch meeting next Tuesday from 7pm in CONNECT TRADE UNION Head Office, 6 Gardiner Row, Dublin 1.
Please tell all Sheetmetal Workers, Apprentices and Skilled Operatives that you work with or know from the industry that this is a “must attend” meeting.
If they are not in the Union, in the wrong Union or they believe that they may be in arrears tell them to come to the meeting and we will sort it out.
It is more important to build a strong union to move forward rather than looking back.
