Mandate Trade Union has announced that five more Tesco stores have voted in Tesco Picfavour of industrial action at the company and will join their colleagues on the picket lines on Friday, 17th February 2017.
This follows nine Tesco stores who plan to commence strike action on St. Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, 14th February 2017.
“Mandate Strike at Tesco. “Mandate Trade Union’s General Secretary is calling on all union members to “shop with their conscience” on February 14th and beyond they believe they will get a massive response from the public.”
They have a dedicated website and facebook which contains more details on the dispute and which can be accessed on this website a link to which is below. People can show their support by sharing and liking on their website and not passing the pickets and shop as encouraged by Mandate.
